Some of those posts are bizarre, but this one is a gem but not for the reason they think. The claim was talking about how detransitioners were a tiny percentage and of them 80% do it because of pressure from family etc.

A study published in LGBT Health found that 13.1% of currently identified transgender people have detransitioned at some point in their lives, but that 82.5% of those who have detransitioned attribute their decision to at least one external factor such as pressure from family, non-affirming school environments, and increased vulnerability to violence, including sexual assault. The study was authored by researchers at The Fenway Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and is believed to be the first rigorous study of the factors that drive transgender and gender diverse people to detransition.

Really sounds like they’re arguing that conversion therapy works.

Bruh since when is surgery supposed to be fun? At no point during any surgery I had did I go "oh boy I can't wait to experience the joy of having my skin cut open!!!"

I looked forward to getting a drill bit out of my ankle. I'm sure a blind person would look (hah) forward to a procedure to restore their sight. Honestly it's only weird cause it's a girl looking forward to cutting off her tits, thinking that it'll make her a man.

Looking forward to having a problem resolved isn't the same as "fun" though. It's still not a very enjoyable experience, let alone fun
