Yeah I think this is definitely part of it. Troonism is based in narcissism, so a wealthy son of an actress, probably being told day in day out about how promising he is and how he's gonna take the world by storm? I can totally see him locking himself in his bedroom and jerking off to anime all day to avoid the pressure to have to grow up and do something with his life.
