Trans children are mentally ill children, most likely that way from mentally ill parents, get the correct help. Or don't, this shit is too funny anyway.

Most "trans children" are probably gay. Nothing wrong with being gay. Confusing gay children to this modern conversion therapy that has sterilization as a side effect is what's mentally ill.

Even that line of reasoning while I understand it I don't really agree. Like, I get we see the kid, and think, yeah I'm not gonna be surprised if that kid turns out to be gay, but we don't really know if the kid is gay or not do we?

It's all pretty stupid, gay men are men that fuck men. So what is a gay child? Adults trying to sexualize children is what I'd say.

Any parent that goes out of their way to tell me their child is LGBTQ whatever I basically ask them straight "why did you watch them do it? or were you a participant?"

Might as well share something anecdotal but speaking as carpet muncher myself, I realized I was of the dykely persuasion at the age of 10. I wanted a girlfriend. My friend who is a homo says he began developing crushes on other boys at around the age of 8. Neither of us were diddled or even had gayness explained. While things may or may not be set in stone, I feel as if there may be earlier life developmental stages for those of who are homo inclined. I mean, wouldn't it still be gay if you wanted to kiss dudes all the time?

It's just dangerous to discuss such a thing with children with how easily influenced they are.

I can buy that you're "wired that way" or born that way or whatever and that becomes clear with the benefit of hindsight. I'm not sure it's as set in stone as people seem want to believe though as I've definitely noticed a lot of "former sexual abuse victim starts identifying as gay" as well, so I think we've got an open argument on how much of it's "nature vs nurture" or even if it's the same for everyone.

I remember the last time I had mandatory sensitivity training this guy was telling his story of how he was gay and I kid you not it started with "when I was in kindergarten my best friend was a boy" and I'm sitting there thinking, isn't that true of most everyone? Gay or not? Kindergarten aged kids usually end up hanging round the same sex? Seemed really odd. Granted this gay guy is married to a trans man so he seems very much "straight with extra steps" to me.

True, we should let kids be kids. If they display gender non-conforming behaviour it makes as little sense declaring them gay as trans, although statistically gay is more likely. If they aren't even teens yet, either is absolutely irrelevant.

They might turn out gay they might not. Conforming kid might turn out straight might not. Kids a kid. Let the kid be a kid. Sexuality is an adult concept the kid doesn't need to be bothered with until they are old enough to have sex.

Kid wants to wear a dress whatever, probably just wants to dress up, doesn't mean shit. Most you can say is, other kids will make fun of you. Which is true, or was, before the schools started to go on their anti-bullying crusades to the point of hindrance of normal human development.

I've known straight adults that so drag and shit, I don't understand it but I also don't care. Do shit for adults, not for kids, doesn't matter.
