I know I'm safe when I'm with my friends or other non binary people

And there it is. No group deserves a blanket presumption of safety, certainly not on the basis of a shared characteristic

every male NB is either a gay dude or a sex pest

Why did you repeat yourself?

[–]JerzyZulawski 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Agreed, in my experience NBs are about 90% women, 9% gay men, 1% straight male sex pests.

Non-Binary Transformers! Muderbots in Disguise!

Transformers, groomers in disguise.

Aren't all the transformers "non-binary" anyway? I mean they are robots. My car doesn't have a sex. Do robots?

Oh wait silly me I'm expecting non-binary to mean anything other than "it means what I want it to mean right now".

I hope if/when this gender social contagion is over, the people peddling it get their comeuppance. I'm talking Nuremberg trials type shit where everyone responsible for this propaganda are prosecuted for how much damage they've done to society.

It's a nice thought, but it won't happen. These fuckers will all just pack up and head on down the road to the next thing that lets them meddle in peoples' lives while feeling the delicious tingle of self-righteousness. In fact, if the social pendulum really does swing back hard, they'll probably be rushing to be the loudest in condemning every single thing that they previously supported.

remember how quickly they turned on Robin DiAngelo or Keffals?

I often think the same (especially lately seeing family members posting their support for Hersheys). Realistically, it won't happen. There are too many of them, and they'll all say "Oh we didn't know", when the truth is they were actively ignoring the truth and working to silence those who were speaking out.

Besides if we couldn't get justice for the opium/fentanyl crisis and all the societal damage that's caused, this isn't any more likely.

Personally I will be happy when we can just stop pretending that men are women and go back to living in reality

The people doing it are professional victims already, and they've already mastered how any time someone has them dead to rights that 'they did something objectively, undeniably bad and they are evil for it', they turn around and blame one of their boogeymen for causing them to believe this.

Inevitably, they'll do the same thing if that occurred and be the people in the trials swearing they only followed orders, likely under threat of death, and will either go to their punishment swearing it was the fault of their boogeymen [or, if they're shrewd enough to find a way out of it, blame a conveniently deceased scapegoat who cannot be punished.]

People who aren't female or male.

They dropped the "gender is not sex" cop-out so suddenly, I wish I had taken more screenshots of it.

You can make them real mad when you loop the questions like this.

If you aren't male or female what are you?

I'm non-binary.

What's that?

It means I'm not male or female.

Ok what are you?

I'm non-binary. It means I'm not male or female.

Yes , I understand what you are not. What are you?

I'm non-binary!

What's that mean?

I'm ending this conversation.

Very funny. Of course it doesn't mean anything. It means you aren't what you are?

I could accept this more if people just didn't take it as an identity and just said "I don't feel like I am restricted to traditional fender rolls" and like cool, you never were. Men can cook. Women can drive cars. Doesn't mean either is non-binary.

[–]alladd 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

"I'm nonbinary. Sometimes I'm a little male, and sometimes I'm a little female."

Oh so you're binary.

[–]Alienhunter糞大名 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel a little bit country and sometimes I feel a little bit rock and roll. That makes me non-binary!!!

And as a non-binary that means I am a completely qualified to have an opinion on it. And my opinion is that non-binary doesn't exist, and that all non-binary identities are no longer to be validated at the front desk. Only valid parking tickets may be validated.

[–]M1GarandDad 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

And if gender is in fact a spectrum, then every point on that spectrum is non-binary by definition, including the two extremes. Which no real person can reach anyway, because they're social constructs that aren't exactly the same in every society. So if Queer Theory was internally consistent, people who identify with binary genders would be just another kind of non-binary because binary genders literally don't exist. But we are supposed to believe that some people are more non-binary than others, and should be specially categorized as such.

They tell us "there's no such thing as a boy or a girl" but also gender identity is "Who a person knows themself to be. A child may identify as a boy or girl" (in the womb!), so children can know they are something that doesn't exist, and some people are neither of these things that don't exist... but gender identity is absolutely immutable and unmistakable except when it's extremely fluid and hard to pin down... and gender isn't a choice but you have rights based on your "chosen gender"... look, just believe whatever any Queer person says at the moment and stop asking questions, you bigot!

This is really creepy. They aren't just teaching kids that "there are nonbinary people" (even if that itself is ridiculous). Nope, they're openly indoctrinating kids into believing that being "nonbinary" is amazing and wonderful and better.

I keep wondering why this is happening.

[–]LyingSpirit472 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The world has systematically eliminated any hope for the vast majority of society to be special- and most of society knows this- so we're seeing one last big explosion of peasants demanding that they are special before the world falls back into a feudal society of lords and serfs.

Pronouns have a feeling?

[–]The_Best_Yak_Ever 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You cannot just claim you aren’t either any more than I can claim to be a bunny rabbit. You aren’t special. It isn’t cute. It isn’t “a wonderful experience.” A happy person with self respect does not claim they are a special special imaginary being. A loser does that. Instead of finding something to be good at, they make up stupid labels and flags and try to convince other losers that they have personalities. When us normal ass people see you do that, it becomes nearly impossible to take you seriously, especially since you all look the same with silly hair and obnoxious clothes.

This needs to stop.

Doesn't work with how many people sincerely, unironically already claim to be a bunny rabbit, but your point stands.

I'm not male or female!

What are you then? A fucking slug?

[–]Beardbuster 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This is why I'll be intentionally showing my children older cartoons and programs. Never mind the politics, they were good on their own.

That's a transformer that can't transform.

TRANSformers, women in disguise.

[–]Easy_G 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

There is actually precedent for non-transforming Cybertronians in the comics. They are referred to as monoformers and are an extreme minority with terroristic tactics that treat it as political or religious - or both - and call themselves the Militant Monoform Movement, or "Triple M". They are Cybertronians who had their transformation cog surgically removed so they are locked into one mode. In Cybertronian society, altmode was the basis for your function in society as defined by the Functionists and their Grand Cybertronian Taxonomy. The Functionists had major issues too, being hardcore authoritarians, but Triple M goes hard in the other direction.

Some of them go as far as to have "kibble" (non-humanoid parts like wheels) removed so that no one can tell what their old altmode was. This is highly distasteful among most Cybertronians as "secondary anatomy" is part of their inherent biology and the lack of it is disturbingly offputting. Not having an obvious or guessable altmode based on secondary anatomy comes across as weird and alien and is kind of their equivalent of uncanny valley.

The population at large finds them to be delusional deviants that try to push their agenda onto others, and that isn't actually incorrect. There is the occasional rare instance of someone with mental issues that had kibble removal done because they had a fear of transformation, but the majority of Triple M is performative and use it as their way of rebelling against the Functionists.

Transformers are a nuanced group of robots.
