In today's society you're deplatformed for not agreeing that a man in a wig is a woman but a known infant fetishist can carry on as long as xi/xir doesn't bring it up at the event xit's invited to. You begin to see a pattern.

*family

Disgusting safeguarding failures aside, this is also just atrocious business especially in their industry. Pubs and microbreweries have been shutting down all over the place recently, including a couple I'd consider far better than whichever brewery they're attached to. There are also too many good pubs in Manchester for them to be torpedoing their PR like this

Edit: Looks like they've actually come to their senses and decided to cancel the event. Probably should have done that before making out that the people warning about it were the bad guys

Second edit: My mistakes. They have cancelled the event, but are still blaming the people raising the alarm bells. And not the diaper fetishist. Stellar work there guys

It boggles the mind that they can mention this freak's fetishes, that they don't even try to deny that they exist, and still think that nobody will have a problem with that. And that when people do have a problem, it's their fault for having the problem and totally not the fault of the freak himself.

Seems like a stellar winning move.

Headline someone who is an open pedophile.

People point out that fact.

Business then decides to double down with "If pedophilic discussion occurs we'll shut it down" yeah definitely going to convince people with that.

Here's how it goes, if shit happens you are responsible in part as the venue. Especially if you've been warned about it before hand. I'll go and document it. Hell everyone in the audience has a smart phone. You don't think in our current social media feeding frenzy culture that shit won't potentially go much further than you want it to go. Even if you shut it down after the fact it still happened. Do you want your business to be front and center on the news associated with a known pedophile?

So what exactly are they going to talk about to a family friendly audience? I’m actually curious what went through the booker’s mind when they thought about organising this.

I believe it's meant to be a book reading of Assigned Male. It's not even like this is some secret. Labelle is open about being a diaperfur enthusiast

Anyway, plenty of better places in Manchester that don't platform diaperfurs

He has been flying under the radar since the whole "littlefur" thing.

"we can assure you the pedophile we're paying promised to keep that shit under wraps for a few hours"

This man uses pictures of actual kids to create his kiddy-furry-fetish 'art'. What do these parents think is going to happen at this event?
