The white reaction to this attitude of his would be to punch him pre-emptively before saying the N-word, and then say the N-word while he's on the floor. This way whites preserve our right to free speech, and we are doing it in self-defense.

His attitude is simply not the right avenue to go.

Doesn't work as well. If you're even close to a fight with someone like this, the second you say the N-word, it'll count as "fighting words" and your claim of self-defense instantly becomes far, far harder to prove than it would be.

The n-word is said after he's down on the floor. You have to take him out pre-emptively to avoid getting punched for saying the N-word.

And who counts it as "fighting words"? The N-word is free speech.

And in that case by doing this, a preemptive assault instantly goes from "self-defense" if they hit you first into "you just committed assault" by a pre-emptive strike, and by saying the N-word afterwards, you instantly turned your 'punch them out preemptively to avoid getting punched for saying it' into a hate crime. Enjoy life in prison!
