What did society get in exchange for attempting to be more tolerant of these people? They just act like spoiled brats and expect everyone to cave to every demand they make.

I am not exaggerating when I say that these people would jump at the chance to command their own death squads. As long as they don’t have to get their hands dirty and as long as there were no repercussions, they 100 percent would.

I’m not saying it’s all trans and TRA, but at least for the extremely online ones, trooning out was nothing more than a way to exert power and control over others.

Got mine too.

IGN just gave the game 9/10 and it’s looking like other reviewers are doing similar. The game is now the biggest title on all platforms so it looks like this is actually showing them that no one but them cares about their fetish.

Edit: The Metacritic score is wild trust the Guardian to give it the lowest score (but still 3/5) and mention the trans stuff in the review.

Can’t wait.

Seen it get a bunch of 10/10.

Frankly I'm skeptical this isn't the typical media gaming shill hype. Game might really be amazing though I suspect a lot of them are looking at it through potter fanboy glasses.

I'm pretty non-plussed on anything potter related myself. It was hyped up to me by the "OMG reading is so cool" annoying teacher types who recommended YA crap constantly and went Pooh Pooh on any sort of actually good literature with complex themes and then hyped up more by the "Harry Potter is a manual to learn how to summon real life demon" types that when I finally got around to reading it , it was just the most bland boring and overdone trite YA nonsense with "yer a lizard harry" "yer the best harry" "yer amazing harry" then he is all that shit, and the spells didn't even work irl. I'll stick to the Necronomican thanks. And if I want my heroes journey stuff I prefer one where the hero actually has to deal with failure and overcome it rather than a bunch of Mary sue bs.

If I were a streamer I'd just be documenting the harassment I got and filing a suit against the people that made the list. Though if probably wait until I found someone saying something that could overtly be considered incitement before throwing the suit out.

Like it would be pretty easy to argue no? If I see someone post something like "Punch a Nazi" or "Fucking kill the Terfs" or whatever. And I've got a documented list of hundreds of death threats and harassing messages after the fact it seems like a pretty clear harassment case.

This is just my guess, so YMMV. It's because a lot of the lefty muppets had Harry Potter as the media experience of their generation(s), like Star Wars was for previous generations. And when Rowling was nodding along and feeding the progressives with stuff like "yeah, sure, Dumbledore was gay for Grindelwald" or "Hermione could be black (referring to the actress playing her in that one play)," it gave them the notion that she was one of them, that her fame and reach would support and spotlight what they believed in.

So when she absolutely and unequivocally shut down that trans stuff, they couldn't handle the sudden shock to their ideology. That wasn't what she was supposed to say or do, not at all, and we all know how the left treats anyone that they see as a "traitor" to their cause(s). And since HP is tied to her, regardless of how they seethe and rage about that, they have no choice but to lash out at something that they cherish in their attempts to hurt her in some way.

I think the biggest "crime" she did was not backing down to the Twitter mob. For years they'd go after and target people for saying whatever they deemed was unsayable and the person would just release an apology and or hunker down low if they were smart waiting for the twitter harassment mob to get bored and find their next victim. They're like sharks always on the move ready to tear apart whomever jumps into the water.

She basically did something (and I don't much like Rowling since forever ago but deeply respect her for this) where she not only doubled down on it, she wrote a mannifesto on top of it that made sense and basically made her seem totally reasonable, which is impressive for a rad-fem like Rowling.

Now the twitter mob has gotten in over it's head, it's like the sharks decided to fuck with Aquaman. She's not backing down, she's not being stupid, she's not susceptible to pressure. She can't get fired. She's got loads of her own money. She's un-cancelable essentially. And the twitter mob can't stand it so they just rage constantly. They pretend by not talking about her they are taking attention away from her, but basically they've just created even more publicity for her. It's fucking hilarious. Those fools are so totally blinded by their irrational hate they are helping her and shooting themselves in the foot.

The only reason I know about this game is because of this drama. I've not seen a single advertisement. It's like they're going around shilling for this game for free. It is fucking hilarious.

Maybe a brightly colored symbol of some sort, easily visible. Yellow is a good color, so they just need to pick a symbol that can't be mistaken for anything else at a distance.
