The surgery goes horribly wrong and "she" dies on the table, the 0.01% mourn the death

or

The surgery goes well and the tissue is rejected. "She" dies, the 0.01% mourn the death

or

The surgery goes well, the transplant is not rejected, but somehow the THOUSAND other things necessary for pregnancy just can't ever seem to be lined up well enough to produce a live birth. Many, many children are sacrificed in the attempt. Nobody mourns the deaths but our Lord.

It is noteworthy that several feminists have declared they took themselves OFF the list of organ donors because this is happening. The thought of having everything from ovaries to pubic hair implanted in an insane male (male) so he can try to bear their children is horrifying.

Many, many children are sacrificed in the attempt.

The correct word was used here.

And Bhaal is pleased.

They’re retarded then, because not only is this not happening now, it will never happen. There have only been a handful of uterus transplants into women, no one is doing one into a man for the foreseeable future and most likely never.

Anyone else remember "we just want to get married! what we want to do in the privacy of our bedroom is our business!"

This will happen and people will die in utero.

Anyone else remember "we just want to get married! what we want to do in the privacy of our bedroom is our business!"

Gay people getting married has nothing to do with this aside from the religious right and insane MtFs joining forces to torture logic to the point that they can pretend the issue is related.

Ok, groomer.

I'm going to guess you're under 25.

"insert unrelated catch phrase"

And no I'm not under 25, you're just dumb a f.

[–]brimshaeBased Woodchipper Merchant 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Is "dumb a f" the new zoomer way to say "remembers how the slippery slope fallacy from the 80s and 90s turned out to not be a fallacy"?

[–]Q-Continuum-kin 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No it's the xennial way to say you are dumb as fuck without using overt profanity. If someone says Apollo rides a sun chariot across the sky every day it doesn't prove them correct because the sun "moves" across the sky.

It amazes me the lengths society will go to in order to deny that this is a psychiatric illness. Just mindboggling.

It's like giving anorexics liposuction and a gastric band. Affirmation! You're valid! And maybe when somebody shows up with self-harm wounds we should affirm them with a gift of some high-end chefs knives?

More seriously, every wannabe trans teen should be forced to watch some Exulansic videos on bottom surgery complications.

Because they trojan horsed their way into acceptability using homosexuals as cover. And by the time anyone started to realize what was up, they'd already made pretty serious strides in getting themselves protected by the mainstream.

Here) it says "No. Being transgender (or trans, for short) isn't a mental health disorder. " yet goes on to say "What is gender dysphoria, and how does it affect trans people? Gender dysphoria is a condition that affects many transgender people before they transition (begin living as their authentic selves). It describes a sense of unease regarding the mismatch between assigned sex and gender identity — and it can occur at any point during life, from childhood to adulthood. Left untreated, gender dysphoria can lead to severe emotional and psychological distress." so misleading to me anyway as that describes a disorder "It describes a sense of unease regarding the mismatch between assigned sex and gender identity".

Short answer: It wouldn't.

The idea that women are "incomplete men" or if you just take a uterus and shove it in a male body, where there is quite literally no space for it, and then slap a baby in there and it will all be 100% successful, is the height of mental illness, narcissism, hubris.

There are so many things that happen when a woman's body builds another human being. Hormone fluctuations, organs shifting, bone structure changing...and I would hazard a guess there's a thousand other things we just don't know about. And even with all of that, miscarriages are incredibly common, birth defects happen, stillborns occur. Men's bodies just simply are not built for that, in any way.

It would also be incredibly unethical to undergo any experiment like this, especially when womb transplants to other women do have a fairly high rate of failure.

Womb transplants for men "in the near future" is bizarrely laughable.

And even IF they manage to get it to 9 months… it will have to be a C-section because the male pelvis is too narrow… it would be one disaster after the next and I’d hate to think of the birth defects inflicted upon these children…

[–]jet199 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

The male bladder is literally twice the size of the female bladder, what are they going to do with that?

[–]ClassroomPast6178 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

The bigger issues will be the lack of space within the pelvis, there just isn’t the space to accommodate a baby in there, and it would be unethical to even try. They don’t allow experiments on embryos beyond 14 days, they sure as hell are not going to allow a foetus to go to term in a man and potentially be condemned to a life with multiple disabilities. This whole concept is Mengele-level depraved.

"trans women who were born men"

You can just say "men". It's so much quicker and easier.

[–]Alienhunter糞大名 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

What about the trans women who were born women?

[–]MikeSopes 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

There are no "trans men" or "trans women". There are only men and women. Sex is acknowledged at birth and remains immutable for one's entire life.

[–]Alienhunter糞大名 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The entire idea of specifying trans women who were born men is stupid since they had to be born men. Of course. .

I'm saying what about the trans-women who were born women? The concept is clearly ludicrous. I'm going to claim to be a male to male transexual from now on then whenever someone accuses me of being cisgendered and when I apply for scholarships. Why not?

Something something man made horrors something something….

Even five years ago people would have thought this was satire.

Besides, these troons don’t want to actually have and raise kids. They just want to carry a baby inside of them to further live out their fetish. Once the kid arrived, the troon would no longer be the center of attention, which doesn’t sit well with narcissists.

[–]LyingSpirit472 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Well, that's completely fine. Once they've carried a baby inside of them to further live out their fetish, many flat-out say that they'll just instantly go and have an abortion to further live out their fetish.

It blows my mind that there are people that are considering this unethical surgery. This is why i don't trust the medical community in regards to trans issues because these are the same people that think womb transplants are some how possible.

This entire article is based on a pre-print article - https://www.fertstert.org/article/S0015-0282(23)00055-9/pdf.

Ill give it a skim read.

Edit: and it’s a speculative article, essentially saying nothing. I suggest that it’s just the ramblings of someone who needed to bolster their publication stats and bibliography. As someone who has a number of articles in top tier medical journals this article was extremely low effort.

They provide no evidence that a uterine transplant could ever be done into a man, other than “it’s not fair to limit them to women”.

[–]fuck_redditThou/Thee/Thy 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The first and only attempted womb transplant to a man was in… DING DING DING Weimar Germany (1931) to an apparent autogynephile. I would have guessed the Nazis tried it, but I wasn’t far off.

Also:

Experts say womb transplants for transwomen are needed to end discrimination.

The experts can go fuck themselves. We should be discriminating against people that want to steal the opposite sexes genitals and sacrifice children to their fetish. It’s vile.

Lol I just want to see them actually do this. Men who get vaginoplasties often can't urinate or have sex without pain. I can't wait to see them try to pass a baby through their male pelvis and then die of septicemia from organ rejection.

Also anyone notice the link to the article about a Norwegian philosopher floating the idea of using brain-dead women as surrogates? We're officially in hell.

[–]ClassroomPast6178 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Also anyone notice the link to the article about a Norwegian philosopher floating the idea of using brain-dead women as surrogates? We're officially in hell.

A philosopher doing their job. Peter Singer is a favourite of mine because he ponders the unthinkable for the purposes of exploring ethics. He was notorious in the 90s for saying similarly outrageous things in academic articles. I don’t necessarily agree with him on anything, but the world is better for him being in it because it’s an important role to fill - ethicists have to consider the most horrific things, it’s their job.

What this sort of thing exposes is the lack of intelligence in your average journalist these days. They’re hired based on factors other than their understanding of, or ability to synthesise complex concepts and communicate them to a lay public and so we get articles about womb transplants and brain-dead surrogates and they’re written in a way to suggest that these things are just around the corner when the opposite is true.

Part of that might be the shift in the role of news organisations, from priding themselves for informing the public (and therefore attracting viewers/readers through being trustworthy and useful) to measuring their success based on clicks and advertising sales. Outrage generates more clicks and page impressions than anything and so everything is now written or discussed in the most outrage generating fashion.

It would not work very well because the fetus needs the sympony of hormones a real woman's body provides.
