I'm guessing he can't grow a beard so freaked out that he couldn't look like his own stereotyped concept of a typical man and so decided to "be a woman".

It's funny how self confident MtFs are in their appearance. Like i don't see myself as attractive at all but other people seem to. Then I see this and know for sure I'm better than that but can't bring myself to act with that level of confidence.
