You're comparing a still image distorted by the camera lens with a much less distorted moving image - and movements (even micro movements) are a very important part of how we perceive people.

These poor bastards. Trans people pass much better in still photos than IRL. They can't compensate for the anatomical differences that govern movement.

I went down a misguided rabbit hole today of Vera Wylde's (Council of Geeks YouTuber) Twitter feed. Nonstop pictures of himself in lingerie, referencing sex stuff, and pictures of himself grappling his naked, estrogenized breasts with captions like "Felt Cute".

Dude, you're a 40 yr old, overweight man with puke-coloured hair and gaudy makeup. You're not cute. By anyone's definition.

But I think men like him really believe it. They're living in their own echo chambers and they're just consumed with chasing the dragon.
