It's weird, isn't it? We all know he's a dude, but there are some people who will literally go apoplectic with rage if you don't participate in social etiquette word salad and pretend to not have a basic grasp of reality so he can have a more satisfying jerk-off session later.

Its postmodernism isn’t it? Don’t postmodernists believe that language literally constructs reality and therefore saying the hairy dude is a dainty schoolgirl makes it actually true and anyone who denies it is not only denying reality but committing a violent act against the “dainty schoolgirl” by denying their existence, thus justifying the kind of response (physical and rhetorical) that used to be reserved for actual physical violence.
They’ve taken the Emperor’s New Clothes and completely misunderstood the morals it is trying to convey.

I think whatever school of thought it coincidentally resembles is a post-hoc rationalization of good old fashioned denial. People just need some kind of framework to justify their insane thoughts otherwise they'd have to admit they were delusional.

There’s definitely a line from postmodern theory to queer theory to men in dresses demanding to be called women.
It’s the intersection of fetish and philosophy.
We are starting to see it spread to other degeneracies, look at the nuclear waste czar and his catalogue of degeneracy, which the media was only too happy to normalise. Look at the fucking police posing for pictures with men in leather dog masks during Pride parades, or the fact that the progressives are trying really fucking hard to get kids involved in drag.
Look how quickly it changed from “we must tolerate” to “we must celebrate”. I fully believe that LGB deserve equal rights, but it’s time they also agreed that that comes with some responsibility, one of which is keeping the degenerate shit in private spaces and away from children, just like the straights should do too.
I don’t think that that’s asking much.

that's from studies on the role of categories in thought--some cultures "construct" sexuality as either same- vs. opposite-sex; others as top vs. bottom, and you wouldn't really be able to "think your way out" of those "natural" categories until someone told you about alternative ones (like how "bi" became popular in the 70s)
that's why people in Latin America don't like being forced into the very different US-based categories like "queer" or "trans"; it'd be like asking if Oda Nobunaga was a Democrat or a Republican
then a bunch of college sophomores half-remember all this, the hivemind makes it mandatory, and they start writing up lists of demands for the blindsided administratium
ironically post-2012 identity politics (however you want to call it) is really really insistent on the sheer OBjectivity of whatever someone insists they think, which goes against what the Frenchies were saying (hon hon hon)
