To be fair, if I were a bookbinder and I knew I could turn a £5 used book into a £150 rebound book and there were gimps willing to buy them, I’d be doing that shit too.

Oh no, I applaud the successful grift, even as I am simultaneously disgusted by it and envious that I didn't think of it myself. I was referring more to the silky smooth brains that actually gave over the money for it. They're so steeped in their bile and hate that they don't even hesitate to give over money when someone pushes the right buttons.
