I wish these people would spend half as much energy disavowing and purging actual groomers from their midst as they do protecting them and minimizing their harms. If they did that, we wouldn't have a problem.

They love to throw out the Catholic Church's many and varied molestation scandals as a whataboutism--it's pretty much their go-to example, in fact--and yet they seem to consistently miss the point that they're doing the same fucking thing as the Church's authorities in abetting and burying the behavior by their own.

I know the non-James Charles-type gay guys and lesbians spar-armed the NAMBLA and "political lesbian" (i.e., "kiss my lotus if you want your bachelor's degree") types in the 90s, not just because it might look bad to have them under the umbrella but because they were exactly the sort of maggoty infiltrators you didn't want anywhere near an organization

It's just like ACAB. If you stopped protecting the bad ones in your ranks maybe it'd stop being synonymous with all of them.

Then again all the most "political" transes I know have all shown or admitted to pedo tendencies. Maybe it's just the kind of psychological profile that is drawn to these sorts of things.

ding ding ding. As a leftist, I detest the absolute hypocrisy of these libleftists who constantly say "ACAB" while turning right around and saying "we can't gatekeep X or Y community". I mean, yea, I agree ACAB. And I also think LGB should rid itself of trender TQ's and the groomers in their midst. One is the party line, one gets you cancelled, when they're saying the exact same fucking thing: if a member of group A is being abhorrent, and the other members of group A ignore, abet, or outright support them, then all of group A is guilty of the crimes of the abhorrent members, or the abhorrent members should be removed from the group (a.k.a. "gatekeeping").

"Gatekeeping" becoming some naughty action is the root cause of this absurdity IMHO. If LGB(T) was able to gatekeep out the trenders, LGBT was able to gatekeep the groomers, then this wouldn't even be an issue and we'd still be at 2011 levels of acceptance among the wider public. But the trenders and groomers just kept pushing the boundaries for no good fucking reason and lying about it, and here we are.

I stopped backing the blue because of lockdowns and hate speech laws, but I can still recognise that there are good cops out there. But I still don't trust the police anymore. At the same time, I can recognise that not all gay people are terrible while criticising gay people who do terrible things. I'm gay myself and I call this shit out - not just because this shit turns people against us but also because the things LGBT activists do are horrible

It’s the defence mechanism, the groomers are being outed online so first they deny the existence of groomers and then when that doesn’t work they pretend that “groomer” is an anti gay slur and the media goes along with it like the good little lapdogs they are.

It’s not the first time, I seem to recall the same thing happening with the words “riot” and “rioter” during the BLM riots of 2020. They’ve even had the balls to deny the existence of Antifa.

Holy crap, I was absolutely baffled during a conversation with my unhinged leftie cousin who claimed Antifa was entirely made up by Trump and the right. I was like, "Antifa literally says they exist and have active online accounts organizing violence". Her argument was that she knew a lot of people on the left and none of them were Antifa.

And these people and more are allowed, nay encouraged, to vote.

Tell your cousin that antifa can still exist despite none of her friends being antifa. And yes, universal suffrage was a mistake. There should be a test and you don't get at least 90% you don't get to vote.

Some people I know have linked to this on their twitter. I don't understand why they can't fucking grasp that very few people, if any, are calling ordinary LGB people, or even the more rational T people, groomers. But some really fucking dodgy people have glommed on to the 'community' and are using them as a shield. The people who refuse to accept that and deal with it, are the ones who are endangering LGB and those T people the most.

Also, wasn't groomer banned not too long ago. If a word was banned for a period, then unbanned, it stands to fucking reason that it's use will immediately shoot up.

True. Groomers go after gay people who speak out against them and see us as a bigger threat than homophobic people.
