It's an odd situation. I've always theorized that one of the reasons the population of trans people (specifically m2f) has exploded is out of a desire to distance themselves from white, straight men. After all, we're the baddies, right? What better way to be part of the "good guys" than transitioning. Sure, you can just be gay light (pansexual or asexual) to join that community, but the pecking order places you at the very bottom. Being trans shoots you right to the top of the pyramid.

But then why trans men? You were part of the "oppressed" and you voluntarily joined the baddies? I gotta wonder where trans men are in the LBGTQ+ pecking order. Trans, sure, but you wanna be a man? Ew!

and a lot of the "queer" category is "oh, I don't have dysphoria, or hormones, or surgery, or dress different, or want to date someone of the same sex however it's defined--I don't OWE you any performativity!!!" it's like what bi was in the 70s or like 1990-2008, basically "we're allowed in this bar, and you can't demand that I prove I also go out with the same sex!"

Rad-fems have long been comprised of a lot of crazy people with a poor grasp of reality. I've enjoyed reading some of the rad fem theory where they wax poetic of some perfect girls only society with no men. Both from the medically hilarious perspective of not understanding where babies come from. And the socially idiotic perspective of thinking all women love each other and get along without conflict.

It's wild how much they hate a woman choosing to be a stay at home parent. Like mate, the whole thing was about people being able to choose. If that's what they want to do then congrats goal achieved. Same if they want to go into the workforce. It's just so weird because they should be happy about it but instead it's "how dare you not pick the path I think you should be on" and don't realise they're acting the same as what they were originally against...

I've always laughed at such nonsense. It's hilariously retarded. It's like they think all women are some kind of hive mind and the only reason they would ever think differently is because a man told them too. Like it's totally denying the agency of women to think for themselves and is ironically one of the most misogynistic takes you can come up with.

I swear feminine infighting can be one of the nastiest things you'll ever have to meditate if one or both parties just refuses to act in good faith.
