Thinking about it, if "ShitThatNeverHappened.exe" stopped working, does that mean anything can happen?

I think ShitThatNeverHappened.exe is the process that creates fanciful events for loons to post online. If it breaks, then you either stop producing the output or the output goes doolally and produces even more ridiculous events to post.

Unless, and this just occurred to me and would support your assertion, is if shit[…].exe is actually a process that cleans up all the incongruous, unbelievable and ridiculous nonsense and so the breakdown means that all that shit gets out into the wild.

I'd say it works both ways, and it's an accurate description of recent events.
