That's the conudrum. Gender self-ID causes such problems.

"Doxxing all alt-right" Polish Branzy Zadz-whatever their name is, did refer to the shooter as they/them. She is a smart woman.

She invented a new way to doxx right-wingers (I won't even talk about it because rules).

That's a mason symbol. I have researched secret societies. Mafia (or Cosa Nostra) is one. They ruled NYC till 1980s with iron fist.

Cosa Nostra apparently descended from the occult secret societies in Sicily, Italy.

Their making ceremony required that associate candidate for made man (=Member) position (who has committed a murder for the family) prick their finger after reciting a loyalty oath. Then a picture of saint (in which the blood from the finger is dipped) will be lit on fire and initiate has to cup it and say "may I burn in hell like this saint if I betray this organization's secrets".
