Yes, hockey is for everyone. It doesn't mean that everyone has to watch you play it.

I'd definitely watch a hockey to soccer trans-sports match. It's hockey but it identifies as soccer, use a ball instead of a puck and all the players run around on the rink without scates trying to kick the ball into the goal.
