Proving once more that they’re giving higher academic awards to retarded people now.

I'll give Dr Johanna some credit, increased rates of drowning would be the clearest case of trans people "literally dying" I've seen in a while! Just as soon as we see the statistical citation I guess...

But of course it's nonsense that someone wouldn't lern to swim just because they can't do it in a ranked competition.

Swimming seems to be a weird fixation amongst the “progressive” types, not just on gender identity grounds either.

Because they sexualise it.

Not just that though. There’s an industry growing up pointing to how UK swimming is totally racist, from throwing the N-word around to not allowing extra-big Afro swimming caps in swimming competitions.

It’s entirely confected for the sake of clout. Every child gets swimming lessons, regardless of race, as part of their primary schooling, it’s compulsory.

Black people sink. They don't like people talking about it because being good at sports is sort of their thing.

Outside of toddlers, the highest rates of drowning deaths are in males, in their teens and twenties, who can swim. They are the most likely to overestimate their abilities and swim into water they can't manage. In terms of drowning, they've already aged out of the toddler drowning danger, so it's best not to get them swimming. They are much safer staying out of the water.

So troons are more at risk then

The leading cause of trans deaths is drowning, caused by the refusal of the transphobic swimming elite to let them learn how to swim.

trans folx can’t even take baths without risking their lives!!!

Trillions of trans people drown in bathtubs with toasters and after falling from bridges due to unforseen circumstances such as gravity. How dare this person forbid trans people from learning how to swim!

I think you'll find that all the poor most discriminated minority folx are trying to do, is identify their way out of increased drowning risk. If we don't let them destroy competitive swimming for women, by accepting them as ladies, they will drown.

Not true. I literally drool from the side of my mouth and stare emptily into the void. Yet I have no academic awards.

[–]chadwickofwv 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

That is far too intelligent to get an academic award. You have to be stupid enough to believe their religion of Marxism.

From each according to xirs ability, to each according to xis needs. All of us are equal. But a few of us are slightly more equal then the rest of you.

You haven't proved yourself disadvantaged enough. Better start giving yourself latinx pronouns and identifying as a queer black POC.

What do you call a retard who finished last in his school? An academic with a PhD and blue checkmark.

Today we learn that one may only learn to swim if you are competing in an elite swimming competition.

Have to learn to compete before you can learn to not die, I guess.

[–]Haylstorm 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I'm just confused, didn't they have classes as a kid? It's not competitive but teaches you the not drowning thing. Not saying everyone was a super confident swimmer but it was mandatory to learn at least. Or at least most countries I have been in/have friends in have those classes.

[–]LyingSpirit472 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

But if you can't be a world champion and the prettiest mermaid possible, what's the point of learning to not drown?

[–]Haylstorm 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Shit I just enjoyed it as an activity without competition and it was good to know how to not drown. Are you telling me I've been swimming wrong this whole time?

[–]LyingSpirit472 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well, obviously. If you can't be the swimming master, then the world is against you and all you can do is drown to make them feel hurt. Those are the laws.

I sexually identify as special.

I'm going to destroy my opponents at the Special Olympics.

This is hilarious. Anti-science, emotional garbage. If we don't let men into women's sports they will drown. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lia Thomas swam in the men's category. Turns out not very well, ranking 192nd.

Transitions and, lo and behold, Thomas is 1st in women's, smashing pool records

[–]Greykittymomma 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yeah how do we go from "can't race against women in elite races" to "never bother to learn to swim if you can't gain an unfair advantage"?

[–]The_Best_Yak_Ever 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

U WOT?! That has to be a joke. That’s not a thing. It can’t be. That’s such a stretch, it would reach to the galactic center if this tweet somehow infected reality itself. If it’s a joke, haha… good one. What a clever impression of a fucking moron. If it’s real… this person shouldn’t be left alone with scissors and shoelaces…. And never be allowed to go near the internet, lest their idiocy be catching.

[–]YJaewedwqewq 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Drowning statistics among troons can't be that high considering ~41% of them don't even bother making it to the pool before they croak

[–]clownworlddropout 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

She's referencing the "theory" that black people have a higher drowning rate because of institutional racism.

[–]jet199[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Not because they take crack in the bath like Whitney.

I'm beginning to hate the word "community." You just know when someone says it, it means they're trying to make it excusive under the guise of inclusivity.

[–]cant_even 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I thought mental-defectives had to use the "Special" sports categories.
