The Cambridge Union is hosting Dr Stock tonight on the topic "This House Believes in the Right to Offend". Maybe some sanity is slowly starting to creep back into once great institutions

The MC of the Joyce talk made an announcement at the very end that they were going to have a larger gathering of gender critical speakers at Caius College, including Joyce and Stock to carry on and expand the discussion but also in protest against the attempted silencing and intimidation by academic staff.

They've uploaded previous debates. I'm laughing my arse off at what just happened. They opened it up to the floor and one guy just said "I find what the opposition said offensive. Therefore by their own arguments, you can ignore everything they've said"

I do find Dr Joyce’s forthright, no punches pulled, style of talking about a subject refreshing.

Her discussion of the cowardice of the left to confront the lunacy for fear of giving succour to the right, and the parallels to the left’s struggles with pedophiles (PIE) in the 70s and 80s, is rather worth listening to (at around 30-40mins in).

Definitely pick up her book, it’s one of the best on the subject.
