I did some digging to find out what she's talking about and it seems like disabled Americans lose entitlement to some kind of welfare when they get married - see this article
It has nothing whatsoever to do with same sex marriage equality, they're just riding the coattails of a more popular cause and shaming those cis gays to boot, seeing as how we're supposed to use our mountains of privelege to fight everyone else's battles for them.
