The no true Scotsman fallacy used to be common among TRAs whenever a sex offender was discussed. That has mostly fallen out of favor because it went against the newer ideology of identity being the most important thing to consider over any crimes or anything else at all.

Notice also that the victim is a straight male so there is an element of oppression validation where they probably can't place a "woman" below a straight male on the oppressionometer. It doesn't align with their inverted hierarchy if a "transwoman" victimizes a cishet.
