When President Obama was elected in the US, a lot of us thought we were one step closer to achieving a post racial society. I did not support his policies but as an American, I appreciated the significance of his election and it was still something that made me proud of my country (I know…I was never a liberal but back then I still saw a lot of promise in this county).

Instead, race relations got worse after he was elected. And that was not because of white people.

I think the smarter ones among the racial rent seekers realized that stoking the flames of racial resentment kept the grift going.

Trevor Noah is an unfunny hack who got the equivalent of a diversity hire job in the entertainment industry. He needs to invent racism where none exists because that’s how he gets to keep his job.
