Terrorists in the making.

Nothing “in the making” about it, posting bomb threats are terrorist acts and the individuals responsible should be treated as such.

Indeed, I meant more like “in the making” in case they ever made real bombs. But even if this is threats only, that still makes them a danger to society. Well, they’re a danger even without bombs or threats.

I hope they find who did that and punish them. Threats like that are no joke and they should be at the very least expelled and barred from that Uni.

Spain tends to be a bit more sane regarding the nutter brigade. We'll see if anything happens here.

These people should go to prison for making these threats.

    [–]Haylstorm 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Indeed. Whether that's likely to happen or not is another matter but the safety of everyone should be considered and these people should be removed from the site at a minimum. That should be doable at least.

Cry more, you're still a weak failure and pervert in a country with 35% youth unemployment.

Amongst the poorest, most corrupt and most authoritarian countries in the Eurozone.

Corruption is the national sport in Spain. There was a story the other day of local politicians just seizing and selling people’s houses out from under them and not only pocketing the proceeds of the sale, but selling the properties for a fraction of their value to their friends to immediately flip. It involved the local town hall, the local judiciary and the mayor and apparently was a fairly common scheme in Spain, particularly with foreign property owners.

Fuck. And here I was, thinking my country Ireland was bad.

Is actual corruption a problem in Ireland? Ireland really isn’t a country I think of when I think corruption - I’ve never dealt with the government there though so I don’t know what I base my idea on. Northern Ireland though is a different matter, cash for ash and shit.

Ireland has the worst healthcare system in Western Europe. We pay a lot of taxes to fund it, and most of the staff in our public hospitals are just pencil pushers who don’t do any health work. The end result is that if you don’t have private health insurance, you could be waiting for up to three days in the waiting room just to be seen. If you do get seen and a surgery is scheduled, you could be waiting ten years for that surgery. If you do have private health insurance, you will get seen relatively quickly and will get your surgery relatively quick, but you will have to pay a two week salary for that surgery. And you will still end up waiting weeks for that operation if you go to a public hospital - a private hospital is efficient but even more expensive. Also, during the pandemic, the government took control over the private hospitals, and most of them were empty. All while patients were waiting days for beds.

You also need a doctor's prescription to buy certain medications that you can buy off the counter in Spain.

Housing is another concern. Rent and mortgage rates are through the roof, so most Irish people in their 20's still live with their parents. There is also a homeless crisis in Ireland, especially in Dublin. However, our government is bringing in hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees, even though we cannot afford to accommodate those refugees. Furthermore, a large chunk of "refugees" are not Ukrainian at all. People are angry over this, because Irish people are suffering. But instead of listening to us, our government is whinging about how Irish people are increasingly being xenophobic and racist.

Energy crisis isn’t as bad as Germany or several other EU countries, but it is bad. There are already talks of rolling blackouts. Why? Not because we’ve stopped buying gas from Russia. No. It’s because our government has closed down power plants because they are scared of climate change. The government is pushing green energy, even though green energy isn’t ass efficient or environmentally friendly as coal, natural gas or nuclear power.

Our lawsuit culture isn’t as bad as America's, but it’s bad. There is a reason why Ireland has no ski resorts.

Public transport sucks. Especially outside of Dublin. Most people who work in Dublin cannot afford to live in Dublin so they drive to Dublin from three counties away. City buses are the only modes of intra-city transport in other Irish cities, like Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Galway. Why? Because Ireland is a centralised country, where local and city governments have virtually no legislative or executive power. Every single decision gets approved or vetoed by our central government in Dublin, and that same government gets all of the taxes. So if a project that would benefit Galway would not benefit Dublin, then the government blocks it from happening.

Crime is going through the roof. Elderly people are scared to leave their homes. Drugs are more available and that is contributing to our homeless crisis. Our police are afraid of actual criminals because a large proportion of our cops are under 180cm/6ft tall, and a disproportionate amount of them are women. You’re also not allowed to defend yourself. Well, technically you do have a right to self defence, but if you use excessive force you could end up going to prison for three years. A teenage boy in Ireland either killed or maimed a burglar because the burglar was attacking the teen in the teen's own home and the young lad wanted to protect himself, his house and his family. The judge gave him three and a half years behind bars because the force he used was "excessive". You’re not allowed to own a gun unless you are using it to hunt. Speaking of judges, murderers, rapists and paedophiles regularly get let off with suspended sentences "because the criminal had a hard life". Most of our judges are retarded.

Our media is terrible. We only have two TV companies in Ireland: RTÉ and Virgin Media. RTÉ is run by the government, so they never criticise government politicians. RTÉ also pushes a woke, neoliberal agenda and spread lies about how Trump was responsible for the pandemic even though Trump pushed lockdowns and vaccines (which are the REAL reasons to have Trump). RTÉ paints Trump as a racist villain who sucks Putin’s dick, when in reality Trump is a buffoon who simps for his son-in-law. The only reason RTÉ exists is because in Ireland you must have a TV license if you own a TV, which costs €160 a year. RTÉ regularly runs ads where they brag about dragging people to court for not having TV licenses. Sadly, a lot of "conservative" boomers like my dad watch RTÉ religiously so they act like liberals despite calling themselves conservative. My dad complains to me that my brother is a communist and my sister is a woke ideologist who supports transgender ideology and now I roll my eyes at him while he watches RTÉ news, which is worse than CNN. I don’t know much about Virgin Media but given that they are allowed to have free-to-air channels I don’t think Virgin Media is based at all.

The Irish government complains about Russia invading Ukraine, which is fine. Invading another country is wrong. But our government compares Putin to Hitler. This is the same government that allowed the US military to stop by our airports and use our airports for military bases, on their way to and back from blowing up civilians and shit in Middle Eastern countries like Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. The same government that welcomed George W Bush after he invaded Iraq. Ukrainians have a right to be pissed off at Putin, but not the Irish government and media, given that the Irish government licks America's arse while the American military invades other countries.

I love my country. But I hate Irish politicians and most Irish journalists. And because most Irish people do not think outside the box, they keep voting in the same politicians over and over again. Which is why I believe that universal suffrage is a bad idea. Ireland is probably one of the better European countries, but our country still sucks and we need to do better. But we can’t do better because stupidity is rampant over here.

I think Spain should replace bullfighting with trannyfighting. Instead of a red cape, the matador's capes simply say "trans women aren't women" which should either anger them enough to charge, or make them have a nervous breakdown. Either way the match ends when the tranny collapses from exhaustion. I think it could become Spain's new national pastime.

Spain is crazy about woke culture. It is among the worst offenders of it in Europe. I'm not surprised this is happening there.

I find that quite ironic since VOX and the based wing of their party not only exist but are pretty big.

    [–]RedEyedWarriorThe Evil Cishomo 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

VOX got big in response to the woke culture in Spain. Mass immigration, pride parades and the Duluth model were taken to the next level in Spain.

    [–]YJaewedwqewq 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Makes sense. I'm not huge on Spanish history/politics, I only know about VOX due to an online Spaniard acquaintance and that one very vocal chick that's in their party on the "extreme" side

If you ever wanted to know where South America got its politics from.

Or you can just pretend it's all the CIA's fault.

You seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder about this country in particular. This post isn't about a country, but about trans activists making bomb threats.

Chiquita banana is a CIA company

I blame both Spanish culture and the CIA. Spanish culture for poor economic policies and the CIA for helping dictatorships in foreign countries.

Entitled brats. College kids have done forms of cringey activism for decades, but with the genderspecials it’s basically just making demands and death threats.

I use this phrase a lot but it’s very applicable: they have mistaken their privileges for inalienable rights, so they do this stuff with impunity.

Until people in positions of power are willing to reality check these people and make examples of them (via the judicial system), they won’t stop with the threats and harassment. Sadly, the people in power support the troons.
