That's the point he was making. People hitting on transmen are straight men.

Ah yes... heterosexuality with extra steps.

Isn't it basically? I can emphasize somewhat with women that want to "act masculine" by not bothering with dresses and makeup and what not. I mean I won't bother with any of that crap so I can't very much expect women to want to bother with it right?

But it's just bizzare to me you've got otherwise straight women that want to date men, great you've got it easy if you want to take the male roll and initiate shit you'll have your choice, but you decide to not only identify as a man, which itself is weird, but transition into something resembling a man.

Most men will not find you attractive. Straight men won't because you are trying to look like a man, gay men won't because you aren't a man.

So like why bother with the identity shit? Dress however you want some guy will be into it. But you don't necessarily dress the way you want so much as you dress to attract the kind of partner you want no? I mean it's the same problem that incel men have with attracting women. Men's standards aren't that high that you need to look like some kind of walking supermodel. But if you do emphasize your feminity a bit, whether you like it or not, guys will take notice.

Why go through all the trouble of making yourself look more like a man when it's going to make it harder to find a partner? Why not just not go through with that trouble?

Of course this is sanity talking. Insane people don't follow logic.

I think the issue here is you are assuming they actually want to get laid or have a relationship.

A lot of young women are doing this precisely because they know it will keep people away from them.

A lot of the gender queer straight women have been sexually abused as kids so while they still want attention and a boyfriend like their normal friends they freak out if anyone actually gets close to them.

I mean she's asking directly is x attractive so I'd assume that sexual attention in some form is being sought after. You're probably right though that they're likely to freak out.
