Pride has always been one of the seven deadly sins. It's one thing entire to be proud for someone else. But self pride is a dangerous emotion. Internal validation can become a curse. And a proud heart is a different sort of thing than to be satisfied with ones accomplishments.

I guess it depends on how broadly you define it. To me pride can mean different things, from thinking you're the greatest person in the world, to just having a few moments of joy because you finished cleaning your room and did a nice job. IMO anyone who thinks the latter is something you need to apologize to God for has a few screws loose.

    Are they though? They have no other choice but to settle for these "made in China" solutions. There is nothing out there that can make them look like a real woman. If there was a solution for that I think many of them would gladly take it.

    I was doing some light research on the subject of cross-sex hormones and they potentially do WAY more damage than just causing depression. It's genuinely terrifying, and it seems like most of the people who are put on these hormones are not fully informed of the side effects.

    In the US 90% of trans identified men have never had either hormones or surgery. In the UK where it's completely free it only drops to 80%.

    I like this sticker they posted because it says it all. Old school transsexual people sought being just women or men they felt they are.     Well they're also the ones who say they "feel" like a man or a woman. That means they perceive gender as a social role not connected to biology. If they had any problem with their bodies the problem would be distress from not feeling (in a different sense) like a certain sex. I'm cursed with this and they downplay everything I go through as if acting like a sexist stereotype is the magic bullet that will solve all my problems.
