Talk about checking every box in terms of the negative stereotypes. Just shows that they exist did a reason.

Sounds like both of them are emotionally stunted kidults, and they managed to make that work for themselves until the husband decided to troon out.

This might not be popular opinion, but I can only muster up so much sympathy for the wife. This guy had to be a walking red flag the entire time and she either ignored it or didn’t pick up on it.

Oh, and those 30 and 40 something childless weirdos who are described in the review as being in a form of eternal adolescence with their heavy interest in video games, D and D, comics, and collecting action figures?

These are why Disney and other forms of what used to be thought of as kids entertainment have started appealing to the woke crowd. They tend to have more disposable income than many people with actual children and make their own purchasing decisions.

You're not wrong. She was happy enough to go along with it, until it became a little too all consuming. Your husband asked to fuck while watching tranny porn and that didn't throw up some red flags?

If really is the modern retelling of the tale of Narcissus isn't it? Sitting around staring at yourself in the mirror until your marriage wastes away.

If your significant other is 'asking the other question' using gender or race theory, and concerned about transphobic bigotry, do yourself a gigantic favor and start lining up your divorce lawyer now.

A yes but you see, that requires a certain amount of self respect and date I say it, sanity, that is severely lacking in the types of women who find themselves in these relationships. Not that I have a lack of empathy for her position in this situation, but from the beginning it's pretty clear the boyfriend is a parasite.

If you have kids, living off the one partners income while the other raises the kids is fully acceptable, circumstances exist where that falls on the man. Its not as common but it's not necessarily bad. But here we've got her fully supporting what is basically an adult child or perpetual teenager. What does she get out of this relationship? Not emotional support? Sex? Once the guy realizes he can just use her to live out his sexual fetish she'll get neither of those. And he will cheat on her and dump her for someone else once he's spent all that he can, financially and otherwise.

Like I can kind of see from the woman's perspective that, if your male partner isn't making money himself but is doing something that provides you benefit in the relationship, home making, etc, it might be worth continuing, in the short term at least. But at some point does it not cross your mind that you should get a partner who isn't completely useless?

I mean if all you are getting from the relationship is sex, why not just trade in the boyfriend for a younger model each year like you'd do with a car? Be the sugar momma. Naturally you want more out of a relationship than just sex right? So why put up with a useless partner outside of that?

Just baffles me. If the genders were reversed here I can't think of many men that would put up with it for long.

I wonder when Amanda Jette Knox and other ago wives turned transactivists will start coming out with stuff like this.

gonna get interesting when they come after drag

[–]Alienhunter糞大名 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Drag is pretty much doomed. It's going to get dog pilled by both conservatives and trannies on both sides as a deeply offensive "art" that makes fun of women or transwomen depending on what side of the aisle you find yourself on. Will be more or less the new blackface. Unfortunately I think as drag has always been really fucking funny and a bit of a cultural lint trap that keeps the focus on how silly the whole concept of being a different gender is and keeps people from progressing straight into the "actually I am a real woman because I want to dress like a slut, when can I be a mommy" insanity outright.

they never really do understand that all their stances come from mutually-opposing assumptions: is drag bad because it parodies wombyn? or is drag bad because it parodies trans women? they start to sputter if they try to hold both thoughts in their head

for decades the radfems were almost a punchline of throwing out dissenters or anyone not in the ingroup, wanting whole groups of humanity to die for immutable traits, defending torturers and murderers because they had tits and long hair, bending the law to their demands, posturing as revolutionaries while basically being paid op-ed writers; that's probably why TERFs became the group everyone hated ~2015--because they recognize their own reflection

Rad fems have always been crazy. The root cause is the same for all the woke shit, they are driven by hate, it's not merely about fighting for women's rights, for the most part that fight is won, it's about fighting for hate, hate of other women, hate of men, doesn't matter.

Your crazed radfemm hates the realities of life that do admittingly unfairly, impact women, men can't get pregnant, and will never have to deal with the economic impacts on careers from that, to say the least, the radfemme can choose not to get pregnant as is correctly her right, and she usually does, but it doesn't stop her at being angry at all the other women who choose to live a way she doesn't personally approve of. She is no different than the bitter hateful church ladies that go around casting their judgement on everyone for not living exactly as she lives. The narcissists believe the whole world should revolve around them and their own desires, when you couple that with a radfemme, she believes she is deserved shit simply because she is a woman, and funnily enough the trans-activist believes exactly the same thing for the same reason. And they fucking hate each other because they realize as any good grifter does, they can smell their own, and they don't like it because they know eventually it will come back to bite them in the ass when the general public gets wise.

It's tied in so closely with the progressive movement in general, because frankly who has the time to dedicate themselves wholely to social causes except the childless and or jobless? And who fits these categories? Women largely. The least responsible and capable members of our society have the most free time to spend on such things, and are the last people who should be doing so.

Throughout history you see it, the rich and elite are once removed from the harsh realities of survival, focus their energies on social causes, some important, some frivolous. Look back to the Christian Women's Temperance movement and you see the same kind of crazy you see today. Singular focus on one thing as the cause of all the world's problem, poor understanding of science and general stupidity makes them give false information in PR campaigns like drinking whiskey will make you light up like a candle, and finally a political activist arm that goes in makes policy and fucks stuff up because they've not considered the downsides only pushed forward like blind lemmings. And all surrounding an actual social problem that needs to be addressed, but is simply exasperated all because a bunch of bourgeoisie bored house spouse decide they are hot shit and go on some damned fool idealistic crusade against the oppressive forces of oppression!

I'll definitely grant honorary manhood to any woman who can drink me under the table. She can revel in her victory over the patriarchy for the few hours before organ failure sets in.

Unfortunately it isn't all that unique a story even in published memoirs. Paul Clements' recent biography of James/Jan Morris paints a similar picture and of course his children have felt compelled to add that his behaviour and gender identity are two entirely separate matters (they're not). Katy Tur's biography of her dad is even worse, he was outright abusive. But again the fact he later transitioned had nothing at all to do with that, she assures.
