Yes transphobia is a legitimate phobia.

I wholeheartedly agree. And I'm betting most people are innately transphobic and it's as common as acrophobia or claustrophobia. I think it's encoded into our genes to be able to know the difference between man and woman, so when we encounter something that blurs the lines, our brains instinctually start firing off negative signals.

On top of that, I'm sure these days many people have developed a conscious transphobia after witnessing how the majority of them think and act online and in public.

Yes transphobia is a legitimate phobia.

Transphobia may be legitimate, but "trans" itself isn't a legitimate condition. Wishing to be something you're not is just plain delusion, it doesn't mater if it relates to your sex or not. But if the "phobia" exists it probably relates to the uncanny valley and how almost-but-not-quite humans unsettle us.

How is wishing something a delusion? Don't they have to recognize the facts before wishing they were different?

Also, it most certainly is a real condition. Whether this particular tranny really has it is questionable however, or the majority of them for that matter.

Wishing unreality to be real is a delusion. Sex is innate and can't be changed, therefore wishing to change it is delusion.

The condition is real insofar as it is delusional thinking, but the particular shape a delusion takes doesn't really matter. "Trans" is a needlessly specific subcategory of delusion, not itself a legitimate condition.

Here's what delusion means:

A belief or altered reality that is persistently held despite evidence or agreement to the contrary, generally in reference to a mental disorder.

I don't see wish anywhere in there.

Wish/belief, potato/potato. They believe they're "in the wrong body" and wish to be the opposite sex. It's pure delusion!

Oh sweaty, don't you realize there's no such thing as biological sex? It's impossible to be in the wrong body, doctors arbitrarily assigned your gender at birth. By acknowledging that male and female bodies are not identical you are being transphobic and committing literal genocide!

Do you think trans people don't fit this “delusion” definition?

Oh I think people who deny basic biology are delusional, for sure. But some don't.

It's not a delusion but it's unhealthy to wish for things you can't have.

Transphobia Being anti-trans is both real and perfectly understandable. Aside from how a lot of trannies behave in public and online, the ideology is authoritarian by its very nature. If you don't deny reality, then this ideology considers you a bad person. Being against this ideology is natural and morally sound.

Sadly you are 1000% correct. I wish leftists would understand that instead of blaming all their problems on "rich white male rural Christian conservative bigoted fascist Nazis".
