Lolcow.farm currently down, another Cloudflare issue? I have no clue if it’s temporarily down or is this going to be the KF scenario

That looks like what I was getting on here a few days ago. Probably their end rather than anything else.

I think that even this week I could view the site but later I had a few days without browsing it. Eh...

I think it happens sometimes, try again at different points. I think here happened for a few days so if it's a similar issue it might be up in a weekish? Obviously I'm making a big assumption but I think that's more likely at this point, though I was worried about here in the same way during that time.

I've had a couple of streaming sites struggle recently too with Cloudflare, but those were also on the host's end. Could be some mixture that it's the sites that are probably going to have issues anyway (sites on the fringe of acceptability or legality that will struggle to bring in sponsors, so can't exactly afford the most reliable service), but also Cloudflare might be having some issues

Sounds about right. Not much we can do other than wait and see either way. Some sites are known for having payment issues which would lean more towards that than anything. Have heard of it being certificates now and then too.

Yeah, sorry it's usually a waiting game at this point. I'd imagine it is. Hopefully they'll resolve it quickly.

I think they don’t? At least not as much as Kiwifarms, as if. I was more familiar with KF despite never participating in each of these sites, only lurking. But overall, it seems even less popular than KF and I doubt the doxxing would be a big thing there.

From what I can recall from my minimal browsing of Lolcow (I've only ever really visited for the Indie Lolcows thread, because they like mocking Phoebe Bridgers) they seem to have slightly stricter moderation anyway and I'm pretty sure doxing is banned there.

I think Lolcow's userbase also tends to have a slightly larger portion of women too (at least based on the language used). Basically makes the site more like the mean girl's table, rather than aggressively trying to find people

From what I saw, there were even boards dedicated for women, so it sounds true.
