My big problem with trans people is that literally everyone except trans people are expected to play the cards they were dealt and get over any kind of identity crisis by just accepting who they are and moving on. That's always been the conventional wisdom on the best and healthiest way to deal with immutable self-dissatisfaction. But somehow trans people get a pass on this and society is expected to bend over backwards to make their fantasies a reality.

That’s my problem too. You don’t tell a skinny woman who thinks she’s fat that she’s fat and she needs to lose weight. You don’t change a man's skin just because he’s a white man who wants to be black. So why are transgender people validated?

No, people are allowed to seek treatment for other conditions.

But big pharma finds it more profitable to only offer hormones and expensive surgeries for life, rather than find an actually effective treatment. And corrupt politicans find it more convenient when they can co-opt a vulnerable minority and use them as a vehicle for propaganda.
