I don't have a problem with a character being gay. I do have a problem with a Gay Character(tm), whose personality is Gay(tm), politics are Gay(tm), and interactions (disruptions) with the story are Gay(tm), just for the sake of being Gay(tm).

I don't think tv runners care though, because the Gay Community(tm) doesn't seem to care either.

Nobody cares that Ray from the show Archer is gay, because it is a sliver of his personality and doesn't impact the plot, and it's used well comedically in a comedy show. Then again, I don't think Netflix could write a show that well, so I understand that it's a lot to ask.

Well said. A gay character has to be entertaining for me to give a shit about him. A lot of this gay Netflix shit is boring.
