Woman being a gender, and gender only being societal roles we chose to play...

But those roles change depending on the country you're in. Does that mean your gender changes when you travel? If a Scottish man in a kilt goes to another country does he become a woman because he's wearing a "skirt" now?

Any Scottish man who leaves the country is no true Scottsman and therefore a woman.
