The whole "character's color scheme matches this flag" mentality is a huge pain in the ass, especially for anyone who designs characters. The alphabet mob will try to claim a character as theirs if they have any colors that happen to be similar to a flag. yellow/purple/black? non-binary! magenta/purple/blue? character is automatically bi! Pastel blue/pink/white? Trans! the trans one is especially obnoxious, as those are common pastel colors that go well together. Then if you say they're not, they immediately take it as a direct attack, because they're manipulative, narcissistic assholes who hope to bully others into giving into them.

And I'm sure anything with a rainbow in it is (in their fantasies) secretly LGBTQ. Lucky Charms, Skittles, Pink Floyd, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, etc.

Skittles

I mean, Skittles as a brand has used this fact as part of their marketing for Pride Month.

Which was probably the result of them hiring some blue-haired marketing intern who writes queer Skittles fanfic in their spare time. Point is, these psychopaths want representation so badly they just make shit up in their heads and declare it canon.

I won't lie gay ass Skittles are a pretty good marketing angle. They should have a new mascots Twink the Sugar Monkey and Bugger the Big-Ass Bear.
