For those wondering, this is unfortunately not satire. Image Comics has a history of being woke.

Stuff like this is why the Demon Slayer manga once outsold the ENTIRE comic book industry.

For the record. I think making extreme characatures of political figures is fucking hilarious and I encourage it. Black Barbarian Obama fighting the evil elephant kingdom is fucking hilarious. Is the comic good? Don't know haven't read it. The woke shit falls into the same trap as the Christian shit. The source material has some potentially interesting themes to explore but too often the people writing it are more interested in preaching over telling a good story.

See the movie "Time Changer" for a prime example. Great fucking premise. Uptight 1800's christian travels to the 2010's and gets offended by everything. It's comedy gold. Unfortunately the director is also an uptight 1800's christian and feels that stopping the movie for a sermon about the perils of banning prayer in school is better than having a coherent plot.
