That is the natural state of mammals. Humans who cannot rise above the level of their animal nature feel this way and should be treated the same as cattle. Women tend not to rise above that level as it removes some of their privilege.

Well, there is a difference between ranch cattle and factory cattle. Ranch cattle seem happier.
