Oh hey, it's the girl who transitioned because her oneitis came from a conservative background. You really don't get to be the judge of normal behaviour when you're in a facsimile of a straight relationship, because your in laws wouldn't accept their daughter being a lesbian. It's kind of sad really, and I'd probably be a bit more sympathetic if she weren't an arrogant arsehole in other ways

Wow, that context makes this even sadder. The girlfriend could have just like… estranged her family and lived a happy lesbian life, but instead this dude took life-altering drugs to appease her raging homophobic parents.
