What is the obsession with making words lose all meaning?

Because their insanity doesn't stand up to scrutiny when using already defined words, so they move the goal posts.

If everything is undefined then anything can be redefined.

It's part of their word games. I've noticed leftist activists have this idea that if they take a word or phrase and try to interpose a new meaning on it, somehow everyone will play along and react to the words the same way they always have. They did it with words like "apartheid", "white supremacy", and "violence." They also do it with "sex", "gender", "man", and "woman", hence arguments like "sex and gender aren't the same" and "man and woman refer to social roles", then they expect you to relate to a person's "gender" the same way you would to their biological sex.

It's a key tactic of theirs. Change definitions and play cute little word games. They redefined "racism" to fit critical theory based ideas of oppression, they redefined "violence" as "anything against my ideology" and they're doing it with gender.

Because after a few generations of this Clown World, it'll be impossible to think "unapproved thoughts" because no one will have the vocabulary to form them. That was Orwell's point with the Newspeak Dictionary and the destruction of words.
