"Dilated" suggests that it is a natural human organ that can and is meant to change size, such as when a woman's vagina dilates to allow passage of the baby that only women can gestate. I've noticed leftist activists have this idea that if they take a word or phrase and try to interpose a new meaning on it, somehow everyone will play along and react to the words the same way they always have. They did it with words like "apartheid", "white supremacy", and "violence." They also do it with "sex", "gender", "man", and "woman", hence arguments like "sex and gender aren't the same" and "man and woman refer to social roles", then they expect you to relate to a person's "gender" the same way you would to their biological sex.
