Remember a time when anyone doing this to children would end up in a police lockup?

Simpler times, my dude. Simpler times.

The question is not "why are kids at drag shows" for me so much as "why do the perverts want an audience of children"

"why do the perverts want an audience of children"

Exactly.

Why all the push for "drag kids"?

I know part of it is the desire to create a broader market for products related to drag performances, like heavy make up and expensive clothing.

Still, why include kids on a inherently not family friendly practice? Do they realize that turning drag into a kid friendly thing would require tons of regulations and a complete neutering of the performances?

These people are so short minded...

They want to molest kids as a matter of course to prevent them from growing up to become Nazis.

Do they want Super-Nazis, because that is how you get Super-Nazis!

why do the perverts want an audience of childre

Because it turns them on? It's not rocket science.

I love a good pedophile joke as much as the next guy, but that kind of joke only works if everybody knows you don't mean it. It's a little too real when you're already doing a striptease in front of kids.

I have really edgy joke that I heard years ago but I refuse because of today's climate of sexualizing children.

Remember; when the time comes, it's feet first, not head first.

Remember; when the time comes, it's feet first, not head first.

But that's for the woodchipper. If it's off the roof, it has to be head first or they won't do a proper flip before landing.

And then the Drag Kings stripped off to display their mastectomy scars!

It’s all about diversity and inclusion!

Never feel sorry for trans men.

They will happily let kids be raped just to get their own way.

A drag king is, in theory, supposed to be a woman dressed up like a man. How is it not triggering for them to be playing the role which is meant to be played by a woman? Clearly they care more about forcing everyone else to look at their dumb shit.

    .

Also side note is that FtMs are OBSESSED with showing off their breast scars. Like i swear some of them go on Grindr explicitly for the purpose of showing a topless pic with their mastectomy scars visible.

    I reckon it’s buyer’s remorse.

They need others to validate their decision to amputate healthy tissue. The whole trans trend is built on external validation, which really should have flagged it up as a mental health issue to professionals in the field, particularly those used to dealing with teenage girls and their mental health issues.

Unfortunately, they allowed the same shit that happened with eating disorders and self-harm to happen with FTM teenagers, none of the so-called experts picked up on it. The same useless cunts who told everyone that the way to deal with anorexia and cutting was raising awareness, which is literally the worst thing to do, did the same for trans stuff. It’s unbelievable.

These parents should all have their kids taken away.

Did you read the story? It was a family festival outdoors on the London Southbank (essentially a long public walkway) at 6.30 in the evening. It was a National Theatre Festival, advertised as outdoor live music, dance, performance, workshops and family fun. Parents brought their kids to see some child friendly theatre and got surprised by the drag acts. Following complaints from disgusted parents, this drag performer has now been banned.

No, they knew drag was a big part of the show.

    https://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/shows/river-stage-2022-the-glory-weekend

They decided to sacrifice their kid's mental health to virtue signal.

My bad. Yeah, that is pretty stupid. But I guess that while these parents were stupid enough to bring their kids to a "family drag show," they were at least copped on enough to kick up a fuss about the content. It's a low bar, I know.

    [–]LyingSpirit472 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well, on the opposite side, it's also the UK with a big tradition of pantomime, which commonly uses very family-friendly drag acts. It's perfectly viable to think "family drag show? Oh, it's just some panto dames, that's nice", and find it's an actual...well, DRAG SHOW.
