Nothing in this implies whoever made it is an American. Listen up, it may come to you as a shock, but we non-Americans might kind of enjoy not being America's bitch anymore. China, you say? The only good thing about China is that, like good Asians, they don't try to control Europeans culturally and tell them what to think.

Not yet. Modern China much resembles America. They'll just as easily dominate your culture of they think they can and if they see a benefit to it.
