I knew this stupidity is going to happen because i had so many fucking arguments over the fact that there are differences between male and female human skeletons. Do you know the amount of "I don't conform to gender shapes!" i get? A fucking ton!

"MY BODY IS DIFFERENT!" Said the nonbinary butch. No girl no matter how beef you become you will have a lower center of gravity than men.

I just find it so weird. You're still going to have female hips. Male skulls. All the gender woo in the world won't change it. There's a ton of things that make it obvious no matter how much you think you pass...the bones don't lie.

Yep the bones don't lie. Martial arts don't lie too. I was talking about how body types and sexual dimorphisms matter a ton about how you approach martial arts.

And then this same martial artist non binary butch who argued with me kept insisting that she's different and don't adhere to the basic laws of body differences because she claims she doesn't conform to standard sexual form.

But that's just silly. Men and women stand differently, hell the different center of gravity would have an effect too i'd imagine? Even the most basic 'men have more power thing' seems like it could have an impact.

Like it's not even being mean, if you want to do something optimally it's probably different for each and doing it the wrong way could be harmful.

Yeah, they do. Really interesting too! Take a look at this and you'll see the differences in center of gravity at work

It's because a man's center of gravity is closer to his sternum (base of his sternum i think). A lady's center of gravity is lower to the hips. That's why whenever a guy tries to lean forward like that they will definitely fall, but a lady is just fine.

Edit:

Yes. Women in general are at a physical disadvantage compared to men. But with the right technique, men are easier to throw off balance. Women have more advantage fighting more grounded as well since they already have a lower center of gravity.

Really interesting to see it in action! It's not something I'd think about having an effect like that but you can really see it there.

the comments are filled with people who called the trick bullshit. But, they were either positioned wrong to start with or they had readjusted their position. The point the vid trying to make that if they're both the exact same posture, the men are more likely to tip forward.
