I'm glad you mentioned the MSbP

It’s ridiculous how obvious it is with the “trans kids”, it’s always the mother and the child never seems to be entirely on board with it.

Reading between the lines here I think that's the case. The mom wants an abnormal kid for the attention it brings them, and the trans stuff is in vogue now where before it was Autism ADHD tourettes or whatever. Especially if it takes criticism off the mother for their own parental failings.

This seems to me to be a prime example of the toxic feminine behavior of "minesweeping". That is, reaching out feelers to premptively clear out the possible issues that can blow up in their face on their way to their intended destination. "Oh my kid isn't trans I'm just an Ally" then buys kids the books that unapologetically cast the trans kid as the hero. My kid want to be a Jedi, astronaut, Knight, whatever, same shit. They emulate their heroes.

Then the follow up of "maybe this is my fault, maybe my daughter is just trying to please me" questions floated are to disarm the last mines before the destination. Women constantly do this kind of behavior, "oh I was going to the bar because I like the atmosphere I wasn't going to pick up guys, oh I can't believe that guy kissed me I didn't put signals out at all it took me completely by surprise!"

Nah don't buy it. You wanted to hook up, but you know publicly saying that will get you shade, so you make up some convoluted excuse about how that's not what you really want.

This parent wants a trans son, knows they can't outright say that, so they come up with convoluted excuse about how it's not what they wanted and it just "happened" despite then instigating and driving every step of the process.

And the sad thing is there are tons of difficult children they could adopt. But no, they have to go and ruin perfectly good ones. It's evil.
