You're all conspiring, either willfully or in blissful ignorance, to set back civil rights and race relations by decades, and I'm going to laugh my ass off when the consequences of that shit finally come home to roost.

Edit: It occurs to me that, if they had the brains and the patience to do it right, white supremacists--by which I mean the real ones, not the "he didn't agree me with me, so he must be one" kind--could totally use shit like this for themselves, especially business and event owners. Just set up BIPOC/LGBTrashmafia spaces off to the side and funnel anyone that they don't want in their spots into the "safe spaces."

Founded on? No. That's pretty much a direct, and entirely logical, response to the rest of the world (but Europe particularly) dumping on them whenever it was convenient to do. Basically, "screw you guys, I'm going home," but writ large. IMO, quite different from a bunch of emotionally fragile snowflakes fucking off into an echo chamber where they can circlejerk each other uninterrupted.

It could be argued that it's become the most extreme expression of the safe space concept from that point. But by that metric, any country with strong nationalist sentiment and strict regulations on who they let in qualifies.

As per my edited comment, any country could be considered a "safe space" if you wanted to apply that term, because pretty much all of them fit the concept, to a greater or lesser degree. It's not just Israel; America? Safe space for Puritans. Liberia? Safe space for ex-slaves. Taiwan? Safe space for non-commie Chinese. Those are just three off of the top of my head.

Israel’s the only country in the world that was founded as a safe space for a particular race/ethnicity though and is also the only country to feel threatened by any demographic growth of another people and takes active measures to prevent that so that it forever remains a largely exclusive Jewish “safe space”. (Hence why a one-state solution where they give the Palestinian refugees the Right Of Return is unnegotiable for them)

We live in the real world though and sometimes you just gotta suck it up, because that’s what being part of a pluralistic, democratic society is all about.

Self-imposed segregated “safe spaces” are never logical or a good idea, regardless of whether they take the form of a small closed off area on a college campus/convention center or an entire country.

Nah it’s still ultimately about fragile woketard safe-space whining. After all the original founder of Zionism Herzl himself didn’t even originally consider Israel/Palestine as an option, he was hoping to get any deal to where the Jews could fuck off into their own self-imposed segregated ghetto country, hell at one point he was even considering Uganda as an option!

If it was just about establishing indigenous ancestral and nation claims why have we yet to see Native American tribes demand the whole of the United States be given back to then? Why are they simply satisfied with having certain areas/reservations in which they have territorial claim yet aren’t entitled enough to demand a whole self-segregated country? I’ll tell you why, it’s because they have yet to go full woke. Most sane, non-woke people understand that no one is “oppressed” or “marginalized” enough to entitle them to their very own segregated “safe-space” small area, let alone an entire country! Like holy shit imagine the levels of entitlement you have to have for that.
