Streaming values quantity not quality. Unlike television where advertisements were the source of funding and viewer engagement mattered. Streaming you need only keep your viewers from cancelling while enticing new ones, this requires a large amount of new content but the content itself need not bother to be particularly engaging. The number of viewers doesn't matter, number of subscribers is all that does.

Canada has yet to adopt the Canada+ subscription model. And there's still enough grass for people to touch if they can find it under the snow.

Same problem here in Ireland, where a man can legally be recognised as a woman just by filling out a form.
