Straight men have less to gain from this. In fact, the movement usually makes a point to either alienate them (by telling them how they aren't welcome there) or break them into obedient vassals. It's like a left-wing counterpart of the Redpill movement – which mostly works by scaring away self-respecting women and leaving those already conditioned to accept abuse.
Have you heard of Transbians? If a straight guy transitions, they became "gay" and a "woman". They basically turn from "cis het male oppressors" to transwomen who apparently experience homophobia and "transmisogyny" at the same time. Tbh, in this woke intersectionalist era, I'm not surprised so many go that route. But they definitely have a lot to gain from gender ideology(just not without first identifying as a woman). More than enough to cancel out any perceived white privilege if they are white. I wouldn't be surprised if transracialism was acceptable they would "transition" there too to climb the intersectionalist ladder to eventually become Assistant Secretary for Health or something.
Anyway, r/ActualLesbians is full of these people. It's quite a LARP-fest over there..
