Neither makes sense. Because if you belief in the idea of gender identity, then you believe that there are infinite genders. So in a way, putting a number on it is actually transphobic

At the very least as many as there are people on earth, since it basically boils down to personality now

Um, what about all the deceased people who couldn't tell you their personality? What about people who have yet to be born? What about aliens? What about animals? What about plants? What about rocks? Saying they don't have a gender of their own makes you literally Hitler! Do better, Venmo me, flagellate yourself.
