  • This will be the official backup for r/TumblrInAction. Any others do not carry the blessings of the mod team, or He of Blessed Memory, EvilFuckingSociopath.

  • You are allowed to bring content from Reddit, the Cursed Place, onto this new sacred ground, so that it may be exorcised of its evil.

I don't understand how anyone thought it was a hate sub while TwoXChromesomes and AreTheStraightsOk are not. I mean AreTheStraightOK is basically the same thing as TiA just from the LBTQ perspective instead of from the anti-sjw perspective, so that one is just a double standard. I wouldn't consider either of them to be hate subreddits, they just sort of poke fun.

But TwoXChromesomes has been a legit hate subreddit for the last 2 months.

It was originally just a simple woman's issues group. It briefly became a default subreddit, which pretty much everyone decided was a bad idea. Then despite the NAME OF THE SUBREDDIT. They worked extra hard to become inclusive of trans women.

It's always dabbled in man hating, but since Roe V. Wade was leaked to be overturned, it's all just man hating or republican hating.

Just adding a comment here to say I also deleted my reddit account of seven years and uninstalled their shitty app today. Reddit has driven me out.

Happy to try Saidit and hope this place picks up a good amount of subscribers over this.

If you look at how closely the bans of TiA and SJiA come on the heels of the decision by major athletic organizations to ban trans athletes from competition unless they meet some extremely tight transition requirements--so no more "Lia" Thomas types strutting around their actual female teammates at full mast in the locker rooms--it makes perfect sense. They had to lash out at the only targets that their feeble, Reddit-granted power could actually affect.

I think this was the turning point for me when it comes to Reddit. I tried to check TiA yesterday as usual per my day, and I figured this day would come eventually, but I'm just so done with Reddit. I really hope this catches on, so I officially signed up here and here I am.

Yeah much the same here. It has been circling the drain a while. Once edgy content was banned from /r/wtf it really gave me the sense that shit was going downhill and whaddya know. Seems like a lot of others here I'm not even particularly radical, I just feel like there's a clear trend to push an agenda over there, no questions allowed.

I’m very glad we have this place at least. Even though I never joined the original TiA, I was a long-time lurker, upvoted many posts there and gave awards to some of them on Reddit. It was really sad to see the orignal sub banned; I hope a day will come when Reddit will become a better place. Glad to see new content here and the old one being archived.

In case there are any other migrants from Reddit here too - does anyone else have an impression that various accounts active in that sub were banned too on Reddit, with the takedown of TiA? Not mods, but various users who were often there, as members too. I remembered username of some woman whose takes I approved of a lot and wanted to check out her profile after the ban and couldn’t find it - despite I knew I remembered the username correctly.
