I've only really lurked Saidit. Is it cool here to say that anyone who takes their kids to a "Gender Creative Kids" party/dinner/whatever probably deserves to be fed in to a woodchipper?

I saw a 6 year old child with short hair wearing a cute dress and a trans necklace at an event yesterday. It was so bizarre... Like take the necklace off the kid and no one would think twice about their "gender". Establishing that the child was trans was more important than the child just... Being a child.

I had a friend in elementary school whose dad fell into a wood chipper. It was a small town and news spread around fast. Apparently cleanup took hours because the firemen kept having to leave because they couldn't stop throwing up. All that to say... Yes, I think it's fair game to hope these people fall into a wood chipper.

If this isn't a hoax, I hope there's reckoning one day for these parents. My 4 year old has the most basic grasp on gender. He knows he's a boy. He knows he's got a weiner and boys have weiners. His likes his mommy better than daddy so sometimes he says things like "i'm a girl like mommy". Literally 100% of the things that come out of his mouth that aren't related to the fulfilment of his needs (ie: hungry, tired, etc.), despite being funny and cute, are utterIy nonsensical. Anyone who would think a kid that age has anywhere close to the level of understanding needed to decide their gender is completely unfit to be a caregiver for a kid that age.

I can just picture these two fucking assholes, waiting for their innocent 4 year old to say anything out of line to pounce. "WHAT!? You're a.boy like daddy! But of course you are! Tomorrow we're going to walmart to buy you some boy clothes and toys! Our precious 4-year-old trans child! I just knew it!"

When my son was 4 he was devastated to learn that he would never get to grow a baby in his belly and feed it his own milk. He wanted to know if there was any way a man could grow a baby and if not, if there was a way a boy could grow up to be a woman. I was still very 'open minded' about trans, so told him some people who were born girls but live as transmen can grow babies and some people born as boys and live as transwomen but they can't grow babies. So either way, you have to be born a girl to grow a baby and he would not be able to do so. We talked about it on an off for a few days as he'd keep bringing it up. Once I explained that he could still be a parent as a man needs to supply an ingredient before the baby can start to grow which makes them a dad, he was satisfied.

Almost every single child who wants to be the opposite sex, wants that because they want to have or do something that they associate with the opposite sex because of what the adults around them teach them. Be it play with a Barbie, dress up like Elsa, do karate, dress up like Batman, etc. Children who grow up being told they can enjoy whatever they want (within practical reason) are very unlikely to feel a pressing desire to be the other sex. My son managed to want to do the only two things in life that he could absolutely never do because of his sex, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and was able to happily come to terms with the potential to be a father instead once we talked about it. That's all you have to do, let kids explore their likes and dislikes based on their personalities rather than their sex and talk to them rationally whenever they get confused or feel limited.

not to mention that they basically confirmed with the satanic panic that children will lie through their teeth for attention.

Children at that age don't have that good a grasp of the world and cry at the most ridiculous stuff. This little girl probably looks up to her dad very much and because of that wants to look like him. There's no transness involved, just a little girl who thinks that her dad is the best and want to be like him.
