I've lurked on TiA for years, and have checked there almost every single day in the past couple of months. Thanks, TiA mods, for taking care of that place on Reddit as a last oasis of sanity.

There are so few places of sanity left... I've resorted to looking for it in comment sections in news articles. Why is discussion labeled "hate"?

Why is discussion labeled "hate"?

It's labeled that way by a group of people whose loudest participants appear to have features of Cluster B personalities / disorders. Anything that sounds like "no" means they're a victim. Just like when a toddler has a tantrum under similar circumstances. That analogy is apropos and helpful, because those with these personality issues do tend to have stunted emotional growth.
