Can't help but feel that as with a number of other subs the admins have just been looking for any reason to install powermods there (in other words TRA mods). They really won't stop until all dissent is wiped out, huh?

I said in another thread, I'm surprised FourthWaveWomen wasn't banned in this wave, they're already on AHS' radar. Maybe just small enough to sneak by right now, but I can't imagine that'll take much longer. I'm kind of surprised they've not gone for ActuallyLesbian yet, I guess it's another case of being small enough to not be perceived as a problem

Yup, pretty much. Was there this much censorship on Reddit when gay marriage was being debated?? Something makes me suspect there wasn't...

Never even heard of FourthWaveWomen. They'll probably get banned when they're big enough.

Same with ActuallyLesbian. I'll be fascinated to see it happen, though: Reddit admins' justifications for banning all the other real lesbian subreddits was that they were "just radfem subreddits"* and ActuallyLesbian openly supports and allows transwomen.

*(which isn't true... most lesbians are not radfems, we're just gay and don't want to date men.)

I'd say both ActualLesbians & LesbianActually do. ActuallyLesbian is the smallest of the three and whilst they don't outright state they're trans exclusionary, they effectively are. They don't outright ban trans stuff, but the lesbians on there also don't fawn over every TiM that comes by to ask if they're valid
