Not even kidding here there were a lot of short sweet and based responses from users that stuck with me and even solid references to proper information that fights common misinformation (ie. the video of marsha p johnson explicitly stating that he is not a woman). My favorite was something like "I knew once I saw people asserting that they have a right to your body for sexual purposes that this was really just incel shit"

I was global suspended for 2 days for saying that "trannies are just incels who gave up trying to coerce women as men and are trying now to spitefully 'replace' them instead.

And I dont disagree with that suspension -- theres a huge difference between "i do not approve of incels using 'transgender' as a vehicle to establish sexual entitlement to womens bodies" and "all trannies are just doing this incel shit". You gave legit ammunition for the subreddit ban. You might not have fun here

That quote wasn't word for word. I never outright said trannies on reddit...since that would likely result in a perma ban - but two of you whining about it here doesn't bode well imo.

I was suspended for 5 days because I dared to give my own personal experience of verbal assault from trans identifying females calling me a "c*mbucket" and stated this was a common insult used by many of them. I made reference that the use of this kind of language is because they align themselves with the stereotype that to be a man they must be "misogynistic", thus they play the part because that's what they believe being a man is all about. No slurs, just my own experience of being verbally abused but somehow they're the victim and I'm "promoting hate" lol.

The reason I have such anger towards these people and why its personal is for the very reason you've said here. They're utterly misogynistic and its just the tact of very disturbed people to coerce women into relationships that they very much don't want - and when they're refused again as "women" the real misogyny shows again.

My main got perma’d from Reddit for having the audacity to be historically literate and draw a comparison between the doctors who promoted lobotomies in the 1800s and the doctors promoting sex reassignment today. And of course, the reactionaries screeched “wow you’re so stupid comparing HRT to lobotomies” when I very clearly comparing the removal of body parts.

Now that I think on it, it really does say a lot that their first reaction was thinking I was talking about HRT.

Can't help but feel that as with a number of other subs the admins have just been looking for any reason to install powermods there (in other words TRA mods). They really won't stop until all dissent is wiped out, huh?

I said in another thread, I'm surprised FourthWaveWomen wasn't banned in this wave, they're already on AHS' radar. Maybe just small enough to sneak by right now, but I can't imagine that'll take much longer. I'm kind of surprised they've not gone for ActuallyLesbian yet, I guess it's another case of being small enough to not be perceived as a problem

Yup, pretty much. Was there this much censorship on Reddit when gay marriage was being debated?? Something makes me suspect there wasn't...

Never even heard of FourthWaveWomen. They'll probably get banned when they're big enough.

Same with ActuallyLesbian. I'll be fascinated to see it happen, though: Reddit admins' justifications for banning all the other real lesbian subreddits was that they were "just radfem subreddits"* and ActuallyLesbian openly supports and allows transwomen.

*(which isn't true... most lesbians are not radfems, we're just gay and don't want to date men.)

I'd say both ActualLesbians & LesbianActually do. ActuallyLesbian is the smallest of the three and whilst they don't outright state they're trans exclusionary, they effectively are. They don't outright ban trans stuff, but the lesbians on there also don't fawn over every TiM that comes by to ask if they're valid
